Mackenzie Astin


Mackenzie Astin grew up with acting in his blood. The youngest son of actors Patty Duke and John Astin, he entered the family trade at the age of nine and found early success on the iconic 80's television show The Facts of Life, where he spent the better part of four seasons.

As an adult, his work broadened to more complicated and dynamic characters, including roles in Safe Space, Love & Death, The Blacklist, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Homeland, The Man from Wailing River, Shameless, House, Lost and The Magicians among them.

Ever the eager participant in independent film, other recent work includes, Lonely Boy, Do You Take This Man and the role of Lt. Pratt, in The Chickasaw Nation Production of Montford: The Chickasaw Rancher, now streaming on Netflix.


Dr. Clyde Fisher (Te Ata’s Husband)


Dr. Clyde Fisher is acknowledged as the “father of astronomy” in the United States. He was the curator of the Hayden Planetarium in New York and concentrated on making astronomy visually stimulating and learnable for children of all ages.

He met Te Ata in New York City and married her in 1933. They were married until his death in 1949.
